Integrated Development Approach Through Training and Infrastructure to Improve Education Health, Watsan and Hygiene in Manga Cluster Area in Lake Victoria, Kenya (2010 - 2012).

The project was a multi-sectoral intervention that contributed to the development of the newly created Manga District through empowering the poor population and by strengthening their capacities to grasp existing unexploited opportunities in line with Vision 2030. 

Provision of Hygiene and Sanitation facilities to Rirumi Primary school

Funded by Halcrow Foundation (UK) in 2009.The main objective was to improve girl‟s education results through the provision of clean water and proper sanitation facilities.

Zuia Ukimwi, Vijana Tuwe Waangalifu: Promoting Behaviour Change among the Youth-Manga and Nyamira Districts, Nyanza Province, Kenya

The project was funded by Global Fund/Care Kenya in 2009 – 2011. The project was conducted in wider Manga (now Nyamira County) and was aimed at reducing the high infection rate of HIV through sensitizing behavior change among the youth in the region.

Construction of 2 classrooms to Sengera Primary School

Funded by Halcrow Foundation (UK) in 2008.The project provided infrastructure upgrading for Sengera Primary School. The activities carrid out were: Construction of 2 classrooms and provision of desks and chairs for the classrooms.

Provision of Sanitary Towels and Girls sexual Maturation Training to OVC

The project was funded by IMF /CPAC in 2007 – 2008. The project was implemented in Sironga Primary School; the goal was to improve the management of sexual maturation by primary school girls in Nyamira District orphaned by HIV/AIDS. 

Provision of Hygiene and Sanitation facilities to Rural Primary Schools in Nyanza,Shelter and Non Food Items to victims of Post Election Violence (PEV)​

The overall objective of the project was to provide emergency humanitarian aid to the Internally Displaced people (IDP) of Nyanza in Kisii Cathedral, Riatengeya and Ekerenyo IDPs camps. Funded by UNICEF in 2008.

Consultancy to Provide EIA for the Proposed Gatwekera Development Activities.

Funded by Water and Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP) in 2008. The main objective was to generate income to assist Kibera people from the proceeds of the project. The project focused on four objectives: designing, planning, constructing and maintaining of; sanitation blocks, plot toilets, water chamber, water kiosks and, improvement of drainage works.

Consultancy to Provide Gender Mainstreaming in Hygiene, Water and Sanitation.

Funded by Lake Victoria Water Service Board in 2007.HWF conducted consultancy to support organization in capacity building, Water User Associations in Lake Victoria Water Service Board.

Provision of Water and Sanitation to rural primary school.

Funded by OAK Foundation (UK) in the year 2006.This project was the second pilot project and was implemented in three primary schools; Ikobe, Ronge and Sasati primary schools. The aim of the project was to improve the schools dilapidated sanitation facilities with VIP toilets, water harvesting and storage tanks together with hand wash facilities next to the toilets. 

Nubia Basic Integrated Infrastructure Development Project (NUBID)​

Funded by the European Union/CDTF in the year 2005 -2006. The project aimed at improving accessibility to water, improved sanitation and roads network in Nubia Village (an upcoming low informal settlement in Kisii Municipality and Gatembe Primary school.

Provision of Water and Sanitation to rural primary school.

Funded by Rainwater Charitable Trust Fund in the year 2003.The pilot project was implemented in Nyambaso Primary School The projects aim was to provide water harvesting and storage facilities, toilets to the ratio of 1:25 for girls and 1:35 for boys, wash rooms for girls, separate hand wash facility near the toilets for both boys and girls.
